Hello. I’m Richard and you’re welcome to browse and make contact and ask questions.
If you’re new to counselling, or psychotherapy, then don’t panic. It’s okay to look for support when dealing with difficult things. It’s also perfectly understandable to feel a bit anxious too and our work is confidential, supportive and judgement-free.
I combine kindness with pragmatism and am qualified to Masters level.
My role is to listen, hold your load for you, share insights and be alongside you. Together we build our relationship and travel onwards. We might laugh too, I like laughter.
I’m interested in endings and beginnings and survival and progress. We all have to deal with difficult things in life and therapy is a lovely way to explore the tough stuff, learn new things about ourselves, increase our resilience and celebrate success.
I’m also interested in death. Why not? Death and taxes are the two certainties in life and yet we rarely talk about the former and can struggle when something happens to someone we care about. Death and bereavement can be about many things, such as; the end of a relationship, the loss of a job, the passing of a loved one, or the sense of our own life passing by.
If we explore issues relating to bereavement then we can live better.
Would you like to live better?
